A toolkit for birth…
and beyond!
What is Hypnobirthing?
The ‘hypno’ bit is what sets Hypnobirthing apart from regular, free and well-known birth preparation courses.
This is the bit that makes it sound a bit ‘woo’ and weird. But self-hypnosis is something you have probably experienced before and not really understood what is was. Have you ever been so engrossed in a film or sat day dreaming at your desk at work?
These use the exact same brain waves as hypnosis. Essentially, hypnosis is simply deep relaxation.
There are no pendulums involved like you see on the T.V, you won’t be running around barking like a dog and I won’t be talking to your vagina, I promise.
A toolkit for birth
Hypnobirthing at Repose provides you with a toolkit for birth and beyond. Sessions involve;
understanding the mind - body connection and building a positive mindset
learning how the body works during labour and birth to eliminate fear
practising relaxation techniques with your birth partner and why their role is so important
preparing your body and environment for birth
empowering you to make decisions that are right for you and your baby and so much more…
Which type of course should you choose?
